Title of Position: Restaurant General Manager

Job Description: The General Manager will act as the leader of the restaurant management team by planning, directing, and coordinating the operations of the restaurant while adhering to the company’s standards which include solid leadership, embracing our people culture, always serving impeccable food and perfect beverage, creating the perfect experience, and maintaining a sanitary, safe, and spotlessly clean restaurant. The General Manager will keep track of purchasing, storage, preparation, cooking, handling, and serving of all food and beverage products to ensure correct recipe, portion, and specification standards and will be assessing all staffing needs. The Restaurant General Manager will also be assisting the culinary team in developing innovative menu selections in accordance with clients’ expectations and budget. The Restaurant General Manager will provide a positive, empowering, and productive work environment by being a leader and setting an example for all company staff.

Qualifications:

· The General Manager is preferred to have high volume restaurant management experience of at least 3 years

· A passion for mentoring and developing others is necessary for the General Manager

· A solid track record in achieving financial results is necessary for the General Manager

· The Restaurant General Manager must be extremely guest oriented with the highest degree of honesty and integrity

· The Restaurant General Manager should always make themselves available to the restaurant

· The Restaurant General Manager is preferred to have a college degree or equivalent work experience

· The Restaurant General Manager must be BASSET certified
