Title of Position: Human Resource Coordinator
Job Description: As the Human Resource Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day HR functions of our Upscale Hotel in Chicago Il. You will oversee payroll, benefits administration, and personnel records for all staff members. Additionally, you will implement and coordinate training programs, secure applicable documents from new hires and ensure compliance with labor regulations. It is also your responsibility to ensure that all staff members are properly trained and knowledgeable in their roles. You will be the main point of contact for any employee issues, provide support in grievance processes, maintain employee records and handle recruitment needs. The Human Resource Coordinator will conduct performance reviews and monitor overall staff performance. Beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, the Human Resource Coordinator will also play an active role in developing and revising HR policies and procedures to ensure a fair and consistent work environment. Furthermore, you will be closely involved in strategic planning meetings aimed at improving employee engagement and maintaining our stellar company culture.

Qualifications:
  • The Human Resource Coordinator must have at least 3 years of experience in a HR role 
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal labor regulations is required for the Human Resource Coordinator
  • The Human Resource Coordinator must have Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required for the Human Resource Coordinator
  • The Human Resource Coordinator must be fluent in Spanish!!!
