As an Executive Chef in Draper, Utah, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations. You will be in charge of evaluating menus for kitchen flow, product availability, and sales. You will also be responsible for purchasing and inventory management as well as end-of-month budgeting. Additionally, you will hire and manage back-of-house staff and ensure they are trained and compliant with company policies. You will collaborate with the General Manager to interpret and implement best practices while also assisting with back-of-house payroll and training staff in safety, food handling, cleanliness, and maintenance. Furthermore, you will coordinate menus and pricing with the General Manager and clients while attending events to meet client needs. Lastly, you will ensure adherence to health and safety regulations as well as other duties assigned as needed.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure top-notch production of all menu items
  • Evaluate menus for kitchen flow, product availability & sales
  • Handle purchasing & inventory management
  • End of month budgeting
  • Hire & manage back of house staff
  • Onboard new employees & ensure they’re trained & compliant w/ policies
  • Collaborate w/ General Manager to interpret & implement best practices
  • Assist w/ back of house payroll & training staff in safety, food handling etc.


Experience Requirements:  

  • Culinary arts degree or similar 
  • Experience in large scale events
  • Knowledge of food & drinks
  • Worked w/ bars/food stations/banquets/catering
  • Ability to communicate well
  • Ability to juggle tasks in busy high stress environment
  • Creative & driven - Familiarity w/ restaurant software a plus
  • Leadership skills
