We are now hiring a General Manager for our venue in Draper, Utah. This is not your standard free-standing restaurant; you'll be working with our venue on events and third-party clients. You'll be responsible for managing and training our team, onboarding new employees, implementing company policies, attending events/meetings with clients, administering payroll, overseeing purchases/sales/events/activities reports, developing business/marketing strategies (including social media postings), maintaining equipment/venue service standards - all while staying compliant with regulations.


As the General Manager of our venue in Draper, Utah you will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the facility. You will manage and train staff members while also onboarding new employees through background checks and training sessions. You will coordinate all events with the venue as well as negotiate contracts with third-party clients. You will ensure that all paperwork such as licensing agreements and credit applications are filled out correctly. You will attend events and meetings to ensure that our clients' needs are met while staying compliant with regulations. Additionally you will administer payroll as well as oversee purchases and provide sales event activity reports. Lastly you will be responsible for business development marketing including social media postings outreach maintenance service of equipment venue standards etc..


Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage & train staff members
  • Onboard new employees through background checks & training sessions

Experience Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Hotel & Restaurant Management or equivalent experience 
  • Extensive food & beverage knowledge w/ experience w/ concessions operations bar operations food operations banquet operations catering operations preferred
  • Effective communication skills across diverse population of employees clients partners etc.
  • Ability to multi-task troubleshoot in high stress fast paced live production work environment
  • Must be creative innovative enthusiastic high energy results oriented w commitment excellence
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software
  • Strong leadership motivational people skills create foster collaborative work environment emphasis teamwork
  • Experience financial management


Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Hotel & Restaurant Management or equivalent experience
