Title of Position: Restaurant Assistant Manager

Job Description: The Assistant Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant and providing superior customer service. They must ensure that all staff are properly trained, motivated, and committed to delivering an outstanding dining experience each time. The Restaurant Assistant Manager will also be expected to handle financial responsibilities such as budget control, payroll management, cost analysis, and inventory management. The Assistant Restaurant Manager must have an in-depth knowledge of menu items, as well as an understanding of the local market to help create promotions and increase revenue. They will also be responsible for taking into consideration customer feedback and making necessary adjustments to ensure the best possible experience. The Restaurant Assistant Manager will adhere to Disciplinary Action Requirements as set by the company. Attendance and participation in weekly manager meetings, as well as in bi-weekly service manager or bar manager meetings, depending on your role, is a requirement for the Restaurant Assistant Manager.

Qualifications:

• A High school diploma or GED is required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred for the Restaurant Assistant Manager
• The Restaurant Assistant Manager must have 2+ years of full-service restaurant management experience
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends is required for the Restaurant Assistant Manager
• The Restaurant Assistant Manager must be results-driven, trustworthy, and team-oriented
• The ability to work standing and walking for extended periods of time as well as able to lift 50 pounds is required for the Restaurant Assistant Manager
