Title of Position – Restaurant Manager

Job Description: We are looking for a Professional Restaurant Manager to oversee the overall operations of the restaurant. The Restaurant Manager must have enthusiasm for our vision that is contagious and will motivate your Team Members. The person will assist in hiring, training, and maintaining an effective staff of professionals to carry out our vision following our high standards as well as our policies and procedures. The Restaurant Manager will report to ownership and will also be held accountable for writing up the end of shift reports covering daily labor, food control and sales. This person will use guest feedback to evaluate their service and food quality. Having a firm foundation of wine knowledge would be preferred along with a familiarity with Italian Cuisine.

The Restaurant Manager will greet guests promptly and courteously; guiding guests to wines they enjoy; setting up and cleaning up daily operations, monitoring food preparation and delivery, and special events; stocking wine and retail merchandise in the tasting room; accurately performing daily wine inventory and related money handling procedures.

Qualifications:

• The Restaurant Manager must be extremely guest orientated with the highest degree on honesty and integrity
• Open availability is a requirement for the Restaurant Manager
• The ability to drive positive sales and raise guest counts is a must for the Restaurant Manager
• The Restaurant Manager must be passionate about and thrive on the development and mentoring of others
• This position requires a minimum of 2-5 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager
