Executive Chef – Make a Difference in the Kitchen!

We are seeking an experienced and professional Executive Chef to join our team. Our organization is an independent not-for-profit 501(c)(3) and we are committed to providing high-quality candidates for executive and management positions in the hospitality industry.

As our Executive Chef, you will be responsible for managing a kitchen, including meal preparation, overseeing staff, and building relationships with volunteers, donors, and clients. You will be expected to provide nutritious, well-balanced, and diverse meals while maintaining kitchen equipment and ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met.

Benefits:

·        Sunday-Thursday Work Schedule – NO LATE NIGHTS!

Position Overview:

·        Manage a kitchen, including meal preparation, staff supervision, and equipment maintenance

·        Build relationships with volunteers, donors, and clients

·        Provide a nutritious, well-balanced, and diverse meal

·        Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met

·        Manage inventory system to minimize waste and maintain supply levels

·        Develop menus tailored to different preferences, dietary restrictions, and special needs

·        Offer hands-on experience for volunteers with team-building activities and training

·        Plan and host program enrichment opportunities for clients

·        Provide leadership and best practices within the hospitality industry and across the organization

Qualifications:

·        Experience as an Executive Chef or similar position

·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·        Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

·        Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

·        Passion for providing high-quality meals and exceptional service
