Salary: $100,000-$130,000

Job Description: 

The General Manager is responsible for all day-to-day operations of the restaurant. They will ensure that the highest standards of service and quality are maintained, while creating a pleasant dining experience for guests. We are looking for someone who focuses on the guest experience, has a hands-on management style, is adept with financials, and knows how to run the floor in an upscale environment. Candidates must be able to effectively run the business, while providing ongoing education for the service staff so strong leadership and communication skills are necessary. We require corporate, upscale dining/food & beverage experience, coupled with overall exceptional guest service.


Job Responsibilities: 

• Manage all operational activities in the restaurant, including staffing, scheduling, training, and budgeting. 

• Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring that all customers are greeted and served promptly with courtesy and respect. 

• Create an enjoyable dining experience by monitoring staff performance and providing feedback as needed. 

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, licensing, insurance regulations; oversee maintenance of equipment/supplies & stock levels. 

• Implement marketing strategies to increase sales and profitability; coordinate special events/promotions/specials throughout the year. 

• Analyze financial reports; develop cost control measures to minimize expenses & maximize profits. 

• Ensure that areas are kept clean & organized at all times in accordance with company standards & policies.  


Job Requirements: 

• Prior fine dining restaurant general management experience and corporate experience required

• Knowledge of hospitality industry regulations; food handling methods & safety precautions; basic accounting principles; POS systems & other software programs used in restaurant operations

• Communication skills with an ability to interact effectively with customers & staff members 

• Detail oriented with strong problem solving & organizational skills; must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously & prioritize workload accordingly. 

• Must demonstrate commitment to excellent customer service standards through proactive service recovery actions when necessary.
