Job Description Overview:

Leads a team of food and beverage professionals, fostering an environment where their skills and talents can shine. Instills a passion for food and wine, imparting knowledge to staff and members on a daily basis. Organizes memorable parties and events that leave a lasting impression. Works closely with exceptional culinary talent to serve the highest quality food in Arizona. Prioritizes creating a pleasant and engaging work atmosphere. Member Service Responsibilities:

·      Acts as the primary contact for all dining service-related member interactions.

·      Positively addresses and resolves any member concerns.

·      Develops enduring relationships with members to contribute to the club's long-term success.

·      Engages with members to create lasting, positive experiences for them and their guests.

Dining Operations Responsibilities:

• Works closely with the culinary team to develop unique and appealing menus.
• Leads daily pre-shift meetings to inspire and motivate the service team.
• Manages service staff scheduling.
• Exemplifies the role of an attentive dining host with meticulous attention to detail.

Management Responsibilities:

• Encourages positive conduct by fostering a supportive environment that values teamwork.
• Maintains an impressive bar inventory to cater to a wide range of discerning tastes.
• Regularly reviews monthly POS sales reports to keep the food and beverage operations current and dynamic.
• Excels at identifying talent and creating an environment where professionals can excel, grow, and develop.
• Provides mentorship and development opportunities for service professionals eager to display their skills in a vibrant and energizing setting.
• Flourishes in a cooperative setting surrounded by skilled professionals dedicated to delivering top-tier hospitality experiences.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Possession of a four-year college degree or equivalent industry-specific training.

Professional Experience: A minimum of one year's experience in a managerial or supervisory role in the food and beverage, culinary, or a related professional domain.

Skills:

• Basic understanding of fine dining and catering/banquet service, ideally within a luxury private club, resort, or high-end property.
• Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities.
• Superior organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Proficiency in various computer software programs such as MS Office, Jonas, Paylocity, POS, OpenTable, etc.
• Possession of a clean driving record.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid (If not already certified, Forest Highlands will assist in providing certification within 60 days of hire).
• Coconino County Food Manager Certification (Required upon employment if not already acquired).
