Title of Position: Hotel Controller

As the Hotel Controller, you will be entrusted with the daily operations of accounts receivable, accounts payable, income journal, general cashiering, taxes, and internal controls. The Hotel Controller will ensure the accurate and timely billing of all receivables, including individual, group, and credit card transactions. The Hotel Controller will play a key role in safeguarding our financial operations by establishing and supervising internal control procedures.

As the Hotel Controller, you will also be the first point of contact for inquiries regarding accounts receivable and will be responsible for producing precise monthly financial forecasts and budgets.

Qualifications:

•             The Hotel Controller should bring at least 5 years of hotel accounting and planning experience, within the Mexican market.

•             The Hotel Controller must maintain accurate accounts receivable and collection activities.

•             Knowledge of period-end financial closing processes is expected from the Hotel Controller.

•             A detail-oriented mindset and strong Microsoft Excel skills are a requirement for the Hotel Controller.

•             The Hotel Controller should have a comprehensive understanding of hotel financial statements to provide support in explaining key variances.

• Experience in hotel accounting software is preferred for the Hotel Controller position.
