Located in the heart of Phoenix, AZ, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Catering Sales Manager to join our team. This pivotal role is responsible for achieving assigned catering/banquet targets tied to the overall performance of the hotel. You will not only be soliciting and securing new accounts but also servicing existing clients/groups where applicable. As a Senior Catering Sales Manager in Phoenix, AZ, you will work in conjunction with the Director of Sales or Director of Catering to achieve the hotel’s revenue and market share goals.

Qualifications for the Senior Catering Sales Manager in Phoenix, AZ:

• Previous experience in Catering Sales.
• Creativity and knowledge of food and beverage.
• Developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate, convince, sell, and influence other managerial personnel, hotel guests, and/or corporate clients.
• Heavy catering background.
• Experience in large hotels is a plus.
• Proven track record of revenue generation.
• Possesses a good portfolio of business.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Job Responsibilities for the Senior Catering Sales Manager in Phoenix, AZ:

• Attain assigned sales and revenue goals effectively.
• Conduct solicitation calls to secure new accounts.
• Execute sales tours to showcase the property's catering capabilities.
• Entertain clients to foster relationships and secure business deals.
• Grow existing relationships with assigned accounts for sustained business.
• Monitor and evaluate market trends within your segment.
• Maintain strong visibility in the local Phoenix, AZ community and industry organizations.
• Ensure timely generation and accuracy of the Daily Event List, Banquet Event Order/Guarantee Sheet, and Ten Day Event Schedule.
• Assist in implementing and/or participating in special promotions relating to direct sales segments, i.e., sales blitzes.
• Attend Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings to ensure all catering requirements are met.
