We are now looking for an Assistant General Manager (AGM) for our café in Wellesley, MA. This high-volume restaurant is seeking an experienced manager who can work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. The AGM will support all facets of café operations dedicated to delivering an inspiring environment for both guests and team members, as well as drive total four walls quality, standards and performance. Description: As an Assistant General Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve working closely with both the front-of-house (FOH) team and kitchen team to ensure that the café meets its goals in terms of quality service delivery. You will be responsible for developing people by teaching them how to deliver excellent customer service while upholding the highest standards in terms of food quality and safety. Your expertise in leadership will be put to good use as you manage performance across all teams while maintaining high personal standards yourself. Overall, you will play a vital role in creating an unforgettable experience for every guest that visits us!

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage FOH operations side by side with FOH staff

• Partner with Savory team on food production

• Ensure highest standards are met when it comes to food quality & safety

• Provide training & development opportunities for FOH staff

• Lead by example & maintain high personal standards

• Manage performance across all teams & ensure total four walls quality

• Create warm & authentic atmosphere for guests & team members alike

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 2 year of experience working as a manager, preferably in a high-volume full-service or polished fast-casual restaurant

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment

Education Requirements:

• High School education or equivalent
