Title of Position - Sommelier 

Job Description: With a substantial collection of wines and spirits it’s required that our Sommelier has an ample knowledge and ability to enhance our guests dining experience with perfectly paired beverages. The Sommelier in this position will ensure their team always executes stellar customer service, will set high standards for service and hospitality, and will act as an ambassador for our brand in and outside of the restaurant. Our Sommelier will have exceptional personal skills and will make themselves accessible for the staff to address questions or concerns. The Sommelier will conduct liquor inventories and be responsible for product ordering as well as bar budgets and assisting in organizing special events and promotions. The sommelier is required to keep all wine lists up to date with market beverage trends.

Qualifications: 

·       Fine dining and/or upscale dining restaurant, or bar experience of 3+ years as a Sommelier is necessary for this position 

·       The Sommelier must have: Certified Sommelier, Food Handlers Certification, TABC Certification

·       A sommelier certification is preferred for the Sommelier 

·       The Sommelier must be extremely guest oriented with the highest degree of honesty and integrity 

·       The Sommelier should be passionate about wine, craft cocktails and familiar with current trends in the beverage industry
