Title of Position: Executive Sous Chef

Job Description: As an Executive Sous Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all the culinary operations within our kitchen. This includes the day-to-day maintenance of food preparation and service, menu planning, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area, adhering to health codes and regulations, managing staff, ordering supplies and ingredients for dishes as well as developing relationships with vendors. You must have excellent organizational skills and be comfortable training others in the kitchen. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen staff, including their work ethics and performance. You must be able to multitask while paying close attention to detail and ensuring all recipes are followed with accuracy. Finally, you will need to abide by all guidelines while creating delectable dishes that meet our standard of excellence.

Qualifications:

·       Steakhouse or Chophouse experience in an upscale environment is required.

·       A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a high-volume environment is required for the Executive Sous Chef.

·       The Executive Sous Chef must be able to manage and motivate others while acting as a role model.

·       Extensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations is required for the Executive Sous Chef.

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
