Title of Position - Director of Sales

Job Description: The Director of Sales will be responsible for the preparation of arrangements with clients for functions that are booked in person, via the telephone, or through correspondence, obtaining all pertinent information concerning the event, more specifically the size of the party, menu, and schedule of events. The Director of Sales will conduct coaching, encouragement, and recognition to employees regularly. Responds to questions or guest concerns and escalates employee/guest feedback to leadership as appropriate. The Director of Sales works directly with the client in setting up and following through on all details of the event. The Director of Sales is responsible for meeting and exceeding the monthly and annual revenue targets by generating brand-new and repeat business through referrals, telephone solicitation, and direct mail, outside sales calls, networking, and other community marketing techniques.

Qualifications:

• The Director of Sales must have a sales or management experience in high volume restaurant/catering environments of at least three years
• The Director of Sales must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• The Director of Sales must be extremely guest orientated with the highest degree of honesty and integrity
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays as needed
