Title of Position: Restaurant General Manager

Job Description: The Restaurant General Manager is a hands-on position with complete responsibility for all restaurant-related functions, systems and operations. As the Restaurant General Manager will perform operational duties, supervise the management team and teammates activate and ensure overall integrity of the restaurant. The Restaurant General Manager will be actively involved in achieving exceptional guest service, building sales and providing sound cost controls so they will result in timely, consistent and superior performance for the restaurant and the guests. In addition to the operational duties, this person will assist in various human resources-related functions including coaching, development and leadership. We look for this person to be the positive role model for their team and to supervise and coordinate responsibility for the restaurant’s results.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of general management experience in restaurants – preferably overseeing single to multi-unit concepts 
• A degree in hospitality or culinary field is preferred but not required
• The Restaurant General Manager must have experience with P&L analysis
• The Restaurant General Manager must have excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• The Restaurant General Manager must be able to work varied hours including days/nights/weekends/holidays & during inclement weather conditions
