Job Description

  • Manages corporate culture consistent with company values through effective working relationships with management, utilization of direct and indirect employee communications, and maintenance of employee handbook and human resources policies and procedures.
  • Resolves and manages complex employee issues, complaints, and disputes through proper employee relations techniques, performance management and coaching. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Manages the leave, ADA, and workers’ compensation programs for the Winston Salem location.
  • Acts as customer service for our employees, answering questions on all things related to time entry, payroll, benefits, and employee relations.
  • Manages the onboarding process.
  • Utilizes feedback processes and surveys to measure culture and staff development and implement strategies to drive company performance through engagement.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Serves as back up on payroll and benefits administration.
